SMS Messaging In The ATS
At an additional cost, the ATS has the option of SMS integration, meaning you can send SMS messages to applicants through the ATS. This could be used for reminding them that they have an upcoming interview, or if you require them to check their emails for further details or information about a role that they have applied for.
During the setup of this integration, you will have the option to have the replies to the SMS messages sent to either an email address or a mobile number. This will be discussed with you when the process is setup.
To send SMS messages to applicants, on the Applicant List page, click the box next to the applicant(s) name, and then select the "Send SMS to applicant(s)" option.
A box will then appear where you can enter the message that you wish to send to the applicant(s).
Once you have finished composing the message, click "Send".
The applicant(s) will then be sent the SMS, and depending on how the process is setup, the response will come to the designated email address or phone number for you to be able to review the reply.
