Manually Posting to a Job Board
hireful ATS already integrates with several leading job boards including:
- Find a Job (previously known as Universal jobmatch)
- CV Library
However, you might need to post to other job boards and when you do we would recommend you try and integrate your job advert to send applicants to apply via the ATS. This is how you complete this process:
- Add vacancy to your ATS and publish it to your jobs page/website.
- Login to your job board and add the details of the job. You will likely see an option to either send all applications to you via email OR add a link for applicants to apply via on online application form (this is sometimes called the Apply URL). You will need to either add the link to the job advert on your website OR link directly to the application form for this job.
It sounds obvious, but in order to locate the specific application form for your job, you just click apply on the relevant advert. You will see that the URL contains the Job ID number. If you are not sure you can always contact support on firstname.lastname@example.org below is an example you can see the Job ID highlighted in yellow.
Below is an example image that shows how this job board offers the different apply options, including what they refer to as the "Apply from URL" option.
If you cannot locate these options in your job board then please contact their support team to find out where this is located.
3. Once the role is published I would recommend applying yourself as a test application to ensure the redirect is working.
Please note: If you are going to be regularly using additional job boards you will want to ensure that the relevant options are available to applicants when they are asked "How did you hear about this role?" (see below for an example). You might want to contact support to ensure all the relevant job boards you use are listed here.
