Viewing the ATS Settings

As an Admin user of the ATS, you have the option to view and edit settings within the ATS. This could be to update departments that roles are assigned to, add a new benefits package  or update the email signatures that go out with the auto emails from the system.

To view the settings page, click on the Profile and Settings icon at the top right hand corner of the screen, and then click on the cog icon.

You will then be taken to the settings page, with 5 main headings at the top:

  • My Profile
  • ATS Settings
  • System Settings
  • Job Advert Settings
  • Integration Settings

Please note: Professional and Premium ATS clients will have a sixth option of Location Settings. This allows you to add locations for role job roles and / or interviews, which then appear in a dropdown list when either adding a job or scheduling an interview.

My Profile

This allows you to edit your profile settings with the ATS, such as your name, password and to add/change your email signature.

ATS Settings

This section allows you to modify areas that are selectable when adding or editing a job on the ATS. There are 11 areas that you can modify:

  • Currency Settings For Assigning Costs - This allows you to add / edit the currency settings when using the Assign Costs feature. Please note the Assign Costs feature is a for Professional / Premium ATS systems only.
  • Job Types - This allows you to add / edit the job types that you can select from when adding a role.
  • Departments - This allows you to add / edit the departments currently setup in the ATS.
  • Contract Types - This allows you to add / edit the contract types currently setup in the ATS.
  • Role Types - This allows you to add / edit the role types in the ATS.
  • Source - This allows you to add / edit the source list that applicants can choose from when they are asked about how they heard about the role they are applying for.
  • Benefits - This allows you to add different lists of benefits into the ATS that you can then assign to a role for applicants to be able to view.
  • Salary Range - This allows you to add / edit the salary ranges available for applicants to pick from when registering for job alerts in the ATS.
  • Regions - This allows you to add / edit the location regions currently setup in the ATS.
  • Interview Calendar Settings - this allows you to edit the settings for the interview calendar.
  • Campaign Types - This is where your hireful campaign information is added so when you are wanting to release a role to hireful to assist with through a campaign, the campaign information will be pre-populated for you to pick.
  • Time Zone - This allows you to edit the timezone that the ATS is setup for. This is if the ATS is being used outside of the UK, you can edit timezones so that they are correct for situations such as interview confirmations.
  • Location Setup - This allows you to add / edit the locations setup in the ATS. Please note this is a feature for Professional / Premium ATS systems only.
  • Brand Settings - This allows you to add different brands to the system that you can then select when creating a new job. The job advert page will carry the logo and banner image that you have uploaded here. Please note this is a feature for Professional / Premium ATS systems only.
  • Statuses - This allows you to select which job status you would like to move a job to when you have hired a candidate.

 System Settings

This allows you to edit the below sections of the ATS:

  • Organisation Signature - This allows you to import your organisation's HTML signature to go into all email correspondance sent from the ATS.
  • Organisation Name - This allows you to edit the name of the organisation assigned to the ATS.
  • Generic Email Address - This allows you to edit the organisation email address where generic emails are sent from the ATS.
  • SEO Settings - This allows you to edit the indexing of the roles advertised through the ATS on Google.
  • VC Logo - This allows you to add your company/organisation logo onto the front page on the video conference platform.

Job Advert Settings

This allows you to edit the below sections of the ATS:

  • Disclaimer Settings - This allows you to change the wording on the disclaimer that candidates view when they are completing their application form, and allows them to view the privacy policy link.
  • GDPR Settings - This allows you to change the wording on the disclaimer when auto reject questions are added to a role that candidates accept.
  • Privacy Policy - This is where the URL for your privacy policy is placed so that candidates can view your privacy policy online.
  • Confirmation Message - This allows you to edit the message that appears on screen once a candidate has completed their application.
  • Confirmation Message For Killer Answer - This allows you to edit the message that appears on screen when a candidate answers a killer question incorrectly.

Integration Settings

This allows you to edit the below section of the ATS:

  •  Job Table (iframe) Settings - This allows you to obtain the iframe code should you wish to embed a jobs table into your careers page.

Location Setup

Professional and Premium ATS clients have the option to add and / or edit job and / or interview locations within the ATS. When clicking on the "Location Setup" button the following screen will appear:




You can add a new job and / or interview location into the ATS (1), edit (2)or delete (3) a location from the ATS or delete all locations from the ATS (4).
